Polynesian Spa, New Zealand’s original geothermal bathing experience, offers therapeutic hot springs, wellness activities, and unique spa therapy treatments.  For over 52 years, it has been a sanctuary for visitors, consistently ranked among the world’s top spas and a must-do attraction in the region.
 
Water from two natural surface springs feeds into 28 mineral pools.  The sulphate-rich Priest Spring alleviates muscle aches, while the sodium-rich Rachel Spring rejuvenates the skin. Guests can choose from the Deluxe Lake Spa, Pavilion adult and Family pool areas, or Private Lake View pools all with stunning views of Sulphur Bay Wildlife Reserve.
 
The Retreat Day Spa comprises of 10 spa therapy rooms where luxurious treatments are on offer including relaxing massages, aix massages, body scrubs, facials and body wraps.
 
Private wellness activities include yoga, meditation, art, and sound healing, herbalist walks and talks in the surrounding geothermal landscape or nearby Redwood’s forest.  All activities can be tailored for small or large groups.  Weekly wellness activity classes are available and include yoga, meditation, and sound healing sessions, allowing guests to incorporate relaxation and mindfulness into their spa experience.
 
The onsite café, 88RA, has a commercial kitchen and offers delicious meal options and the Spa Essentials shop is stocked with high-quality giftware and treatment products.
